Jagiellonia Białystok – PGE FKS Stal Mielec [4:0]

on 3 November at 20:30 PGE FKS Stal Mielec played an away match against Jagiellonia Białystok as part of the 14th PKO BP Ekstraklasa round. The head referee for the meeting was Szymon Marciniak.

Coach Kamil Kiereś decided that the match in the starting line-up will start: Kochalski, Esselink, Matras, Leandro, Getinger, Trąbka, Guillaumier, Jauzems, Wolkowicz, Domański and Shkurin.
The matchday squad also included: Jałocha, Hinokio, Gerstenstein, Stępień, Ehman, Meriluoto, Maj, Rafa Santos and Wolsztynski.

In the Jagiellonia team, Alomerović, Sacek, Skrzypczak, Dieguez, Wdowik, Marczuk, Kubicki, Nene, Naranjo, Hansen and Vinicius started the match from the first minute.
On the substitutes’ bench were Abramović, Nastić, Stojinović, Kupisz, Olszewski, Matysik, Lewicki, Imaz and Pululu.

In the first minutes of the match, it was the Jagiellonia team that created more opportunities to take the lead. After one of the hosts’ actions, the ball was knocked off the goal line by PGE FKS Stala Mielec captain Krystian Getinger. In the 19th minute of the meeting, Kristoffer Hansen scored a goal for Jagiellonia Białystok after an assist from Marczuk. The score was increased 4 minutes later by Wdowik, using a penalty kick. After the first half, the score was 2-0 on the board.

At halftime, both coaches decided not to make any changes to their team. In the 50th minute of the match, Marczuk received a yellow card for a foul on Krystian Getinger. In the 58th minute of the match there was a triple change in the PGE FKS Stali Mielec team. Leandro, Guillaumier and Wolkowicz left the pitch and were replaced by: Esselink, Rafa Santos and Hinokio. A few seconds later Rafa Santos was punished with a yellow card for a tactical foul. In the following minutes, the hosts fired several shots at Kochalski’s goal, but none of them caused difficulties for our goalkeeper. In the 56th minute of the match, Bert Esselink shot at Jagiellonia’s goal with his head, but his shot was off target. In the 79th minute the team from Bialystok scored another goal, and the result of the match in the 83rd minute was set by Wdowik. The match ended with a 4:0 win for the hosts.
