The second edition of the “Get to know Poland in a sporting way” programme is over

In recent months, for the second time, young football fans have been able to take part in a joint project of the Polish Football Association and the Ministry of Education and Science, “Get to know Poland in a sporting way”. As part of the project, it was possible to follow the football rivalry live from the stands of stadiums across the country!

Thanks to the Project, children and young people could watch matches of PGE FKS Stala Mielec – the only football club in the Podkarpacie region in the PKO BP Ekstraklasa – for free. As part of the project, during the matches of Stali at the Municipal Stadium in Mielec, we hosted over a thousand children and young people. Thank you for your fantastic cheering and support for our team.

A club that decided to take part in the “Meet Poland in a sporting way” venture was eligible to receive as part of its application for funding for the trip:

– free invitations to the match for organised groups of between 16 and 45 pupils and for chaperones between 1 and 3;
– a contribution to the costs of transport in the amount of PLN 7 per kilometre up to PLN 4,200;
– a contribution to the costs of catering services and the remuneration of chaperones up to PLN 3,600.
