Before our team an important match against Jagiellonia Białystok. What is your and the team’s attitude before this meeting?
We know how important Monday’s match is in terms of table layout. Very high motivation
and full concentration on the way to the goal, which is the first victory in the spring round of PKO BP Ekstraklasa, this is how I would describe our attitude. I would also add to this the hunger for victory that we want to achieve on Monday and we will do everything to make it happen.
In the autumn round, the Jagiellonia team was victorious. Did that defeat leave any trace in your minds? Or has it already been put out of your mind?
There’s no denying that that match didn’t go the way we all expected it to. But that is in the past, what matters is the here and now. In the autumn round Jagiellonia were better, but now we want to show that we are better and get 3 points at Solski 1.
So how do you have to play so that the fans hear “Flames of love” from the loudspeakers on Monday evening after the game.
We want to hear it too (laughs). We have to be focused from the first to the last second of the match. The team from Białystok has many very good players, but we know our value
and we want to show it during the match. We will fight for every inch of the pitch and no matter what happens during this meeting, we will strive for victory.
I can hear that hunger for victory in your voice.
We train to win in league matches, to give joy not only to ourselves, our families, but most of all to the white and blue fans of Stala. I would like to thank all our fans for their support – for being with us regardless of the results and being the twelfth player. I hope, in fact I am sure, that this will also be the case during Monday’s match against Jagiellonia Białystok.
