JÓZEF STARZYK

Between 1979 and 1982 he was the president of FKS PZL-Stal Mielec.

We have received information about the death of Józef Starzyk. He was a graduate of the Mechanical Technical School in Mielec. Then, in 1967, he graduated from the Faculty of Production and Trade in Goods of the Cracow University of Economics with a master’s degree in economics. From the second half of 1955 (with breaks for: military service 1957-59 and serving as a civilian employee in the 21st Military Representation at WSK Mielec), he worked in various positions at WSK PZL-Mielec, including as deputy general manager for economic affairs, deputy director of WSK and chief accountant, and then went on disability pension. He socially served as vice-president (two terms) and president (one term) of a multi-section (athletics, football, men’s handball, women’s and men’s volleyball, swimming) at FKS PZL-Stal Mielec in 1979-82.
