Puszcza Niepołomice – PGE FKS Stal Mielec [1-0]

on 7 August, the team led by coach Kamil Kieres- PGE FKS Stal Mielec played an away match against Puszcza Niepołomice. This meeting closed the 3rd round of PKO BP Ekstraklasa.

Coach Kamil Kiereś decided that the match in the starting eleven would start: Kochalski, Pajnowski, Matras, Esselink, Getinger, Trąbka, Wlazło, Gerstenstein, Hinokio, Domański and Meriluoto.

On the substitutes’ bench are: Jałocha, Rozwadowski, Stępień, Guillaumier, Wołkowicz, Shkurin, Leândro, Rafa Santos and Wolsztynski.

Puszcza Niepołomice-coach Tomasz Tułacz selected the following players who started the match from the first minute: Komar, Yakuba, Stępień, Mroziński, Siemaszko, Cholewiak, Serafin, Craciun, Zapolnik, Sołowiej and Hajda.

The matchday squad also included: Piechota, Pięczek, Tomalski, Walski, Bartosz, Koj, Majchrzak, Mesanovi and Kidrić.

In the early minutes of the meeting played at the Józef Piłsudski Stadium in Krakow, it was coach Tułacz’s team that held onto the ball longer, but after the first quarter of an hour of play, the scoreboard read 0-0. In the 18th minute of the meeting, Maciej Domański fed in from a corner kick, but Puszcza’s defenders managed to keep the danger away from their penalty area. Two minutes later, Koki Hinokio decided to shoot from outside the penalty area, but the ball after his strike hit the post of Komar’s goal. In the 23rd minute it was the team from Niepołomice who had their chance to take the lead, but Mateusz Kochalski was able to cope with a head shot by a Puszcza player. A minute later, Hinokio again decided to shoot, but the Puszcza Niepołomice goalkeeper managed to direct the ball for a corner kick. The best situation to score a goal the team of coach Tomasz Tułacz created for themselves 5 minutes before the end of the first part of the meeting, but Mateusz Kochalski showed off a fantastic intervention. In the 41st minute a yellow card was given to Siemaszko for a foul on Hinokio. The first half ended in a goalless draw.

At halftime, neither coach decided to make any changes to his team. The PGE FKS Stali Mielec team had the first opportunity to take the lead already two minutes after the resumption of the game. Łukasz Gerstenstein ran into the penalty area with the ball, but the ball after his shot missed the goal of the team from Niepołomice by a minimum. In the 57th minute of the match, coach Tomasz Tułacz decided to make the first changes in his team. Siemaszko and Hajda left the pitch, and their place was taken by Majchrzak and Walski. It was the latter player who entered the scoring list in the 65th minute of the match. Coach Kamil Kiereś decided to make 3 changes. In place of Gerstenstein, Getinger and Meriluoto we saw Stępień, Wolkowicz and Shkurin on the pitch . 5 minutes later, the PGE FKS Stali Mielec coach made two more changes to the line-up. Domański and Trąbka left the pitch, while Wolsztynski and Guillaumier appeared on the pitch. In added time, Mateusz Stępień struck at the Puszcza goal, but his shot was defended by Komar.

The meeting ended with Puszcza Niepołomice winning 1-0, and we would like to thank all the blue and white fans for being with us and supporting our team.
