– I am extremely happy that we are continuing the meetings with the legends of our club and today we can host an outstanding footballer, who is Mr. Stanislaw Stój. As President of the Management Board of FKS Stal Mielec S.A., on behalf of the entire club I would like to thank Mr Stanisław for accepting the invitation to today’s meeting. The Polish Championship won with our team and over two hundred matches played in the colours of Stal Mielec show how important a player he was for our team. I would also like to invite Mr Stanislaw to tomorrow’s match against Korona Kielce as part of the 30th PKO BP Ekstraklasa round,” said Jacek Klimek – President of the Management Board of FKS Stal Mielec S.A.

– I would like to thank you very much for inviting me to this event today and also to tomorrow’s match. As you pointed out, I played over two hundred matches representing Stal Mielec, so this club will always be close to my heart. The most memorable of all my matches played in the colours of Stal was the last game of the championship season. To be a part of a team that won the Polish Championship is something incredible, which I always talk about with pride and a smile on my face,” said Mr. Stanislaw Stój.

Jacek Klimek, President of the Management Board of FKS Stal Mielec S.A., and Damian Gąsiewski, Director of Communications and Marketing, presented Mr Stanislaw with a replica of his jersey with number 11 and a commemorative plaque to thank him for his contribution to the history of our club.
