The starting line-up of the white and blue team included: Mrozek, Flis, Matras, Kruk, Getinger, Wlazło, Gerbowski, Hiszpański, Ciepiela, Sappinen and Hinokio.
On the substitutes’ bench were Kochalski, Kasperkiewicz, Żyra, Vallejo, Wolski, Leandro, Mak, Domański and Lebedyński.
Lechia Gdańsk’s coach decided that the match will start from the first minutes: Kuciak, Tobers, Bartkowski, Kubicki, De Kamps, Saw, Maloca, Sezonienko, Kaluzinski, Abu Hanna, Durmus.
The matchday squad also included: Buchalik, Pietrzak, Castegren, Gajos, Brzęk, Paixao, Stec, Friesenbichler and Tarazzino.
The first 10 minutes of the match did not bring a clear-cut situation for either team to score a goal. In the 12th minute of the match, Jakub Kałuzinski centred into the Sala penalty area, but Joel Abu Hanna struck over the crossbar from five metres from goal. Ten minutes later, Piotr Wlazło decided to strike from outside the penalty area, but the ball after his shot went marginally past the goal. In the first half of the match, both teams still had opportunities to take the lead, but after 45 minutes the scoreboard read 0:0, with neither team taking a shot on target during the first half of the match.
Before the start of the second half, the Lechia Gdańsk coach decided to make a double substitution. De Kamps and Abu Hanna left the pitch and were replaced on the pitch by Gajos and Pietrzak.
