Coach Kamil Kiereś decided that the match in the starting line-up would start: Kochalski, Esselink, Matras, Ehmann, Getinger, Guillaumier, Wlazło, Jaunzems, Strzałek, Domański and Meriluoto.
On the substitutes’ bench were: Jałocha, Hinokio, Stępień, Gerstenstein, Gheorghe, Pajnowski, Wolkowicz, Rafa Santos and Wolsztynski.
In the Radomiak Radom team in the starting eleven were: Majchrowicz, Grzesik, Rossi, Vuskowić, Abramowicz, Semedo, Luizao, Donis, Wolski, Machado and Rocha.
The Radomiak coach also selected players for the matchday team: Koptas, Cichocki, Jakubik, Jordao, Snopczynski, Vagner, Leandro, Jardel and Okoniewski.
The first to go on the attack in this match were Radomiak Radom’s players. In the 8th minute, Semedo fed the ball towards PGE FKS Stala Mielec’s goal, but the ball was confidently caught by Mateusz Kochalski. 5 minutes later it was coach Kamil Kieres’ players who had the opportunity to take the lead. From a free kick, Maciej Domański centred, but the referee stopped the game, indicating a foul in the attack of one of our players. Radomiak’s players were the first to take the lead. In the 17th minute, the ball from an offside kick was played in by Abramovich and the goal was scored by Vusković with a head shot. The home team had a chance to increase the score 20 minutes into the match. A penalty kick was taken by Rocha, but his shot was defended by Mateusz Kochalski. The first half of the meeting ended with a score of 1-0.
Before the start of the second half, PGE FKS Stali Mielec coach Kamil Kiereś decided to make a triple change in his team. In place of Jaunzems, Guillaumier and Strzałek, Hinokio, Gheorghe and Gerstenstein registered on the pitch. The equalising goal was scored by the Steel team in the 63rd minute of the match. The ball was struck at Majchrowicz’s goal by Gerstenstein and its flight path was measured by Mateusz Matras, surprising the Radomiak goalkeeper. Unfortunately, just two minutes later, the team from Radom scored their second goal, with Rocha entering the scoring list. In the 75th minute of the match there was another change in the Stal team, Meriluoto was replaced on the pitch by Wolsztynski. Another change in our team took place two minutes before the end of regular time. Maciej Domański left the pitch, replaced by Mateusz Stępień. The score, however, did not change. The match within the 23rd PKO BP Ekstraklasa round ended with the result 2-1.
