Polskie Zakłady Lotnicze, which belongs to the Lockheed Martin concern, is one of Poland’s largest aircraft manufacturers. The plant produces, among others, the S-70i Black Hawk multirole helicopters and M28 aircraft in various versions, as well as structures for UH-60M helicopters and major components for the global F-16 programme.PZL Mielec has a fully functional airframe production facility, a final assembly line, a finishing centre and an aviation operations centre.
Today, the company is one of the leading employers in Mielec and the region, employing more than 1,680 people, including highly qualified engineering and manufacturing staff valued internationally, particularly for their high quality and on-time delivery.
