HISTORY OF SPORT – is a series of publications concerning the history of Polish sport, and football in particular. The originators, main authors and publishers of this series are board members of the Polish Association of Football Historians and Statisticians: Leszek Śledziona from Mielec and Piotr Chomicki from Gdynia.

The publisher also released 12 series (Nos. 1-110; Representation Nos. 1-10) of postcards depicting pre-war Polish football teams and 22 series (Nos. 1-220, Football Collector’s Club series) depicting post-war Polish football teams from 1960-1991. 18 of these postcards depict the football teams of Stali Mielec in photographs, most of which have never been published before.
Our books are distinguished by the fact that: every match result, every piece of information or every
published photo in our series has its source documented
e.g. press found in libraries, union communiqués and club letters
