IF Elfsborg – FKS Stal Mielec [0:2]

Today the FKS Stal Mielec team played its first match during the preparatory camp in Spain. The match ended with a victory for the white and blue team.

Coach Janusz Niedźwiedź decided that the meeting in the starting line-up would start: Mądrzyk, Senger, Matras, Wlazło, Getinger, Guillaumier, Hannola, Dadok, Krykun, Gerbowski and Wolsztynski.

The matchday squad also included: Jałocha, Dybowski, Szurlej, Assayag, Bukowski, Domański, Jaunzems, Esselink, Knap, Shkurin, Wolkowicz, Zięba, Niedźwiedź, Tkacz and Pajnowski.

From the first minutes of the match, it was the Steel team that held onto the ball longer. In the 7th minute of the meeting Hannola decided to strike, but the ball after his shot passed the goal of the team from Sweden. Just 3 minutes later, Janusz Niedzwiedz’s team could have enjoyed taking the lead. Captain Krystian Getinger accurately fed the ball on the ground into the penalty area, and Robert Dadok entered the scoring list. In the 14th minute of the match, a mistake was made by the opponents’ goalkeeper, the ball was intercepted by Guillaumier, but he hit the ball in the direction of Elfsborg’s goal out of target. 10 minutes later, Robert Dadok decided to take a right-footed shot from outside the penalty area and only a very good intervention by the goalkeeper saved the Swedish team from losing the goal. In the 32nd minute of the match, Sergiy Krykun received a yellow card for a foul on an opponent. In the 37th minute of the match, Robert Dadok was fouled in the penalty area and the eleven was confidently used by Piotr Wlazło. The first half of the meeting ended with a score of 0:2.

The second half of the match the team of FKS Stali Mielec started in the line-up: Jałocha, Senger, Esselink, Bukowski, Jaunzems, Tkacz, Knap, Wolkowicz, Domanski, Assayag and Shkurin.

The IF Elfsborg team made no changes to their line-up at the break of the match. As early as 3 minutes after the start of the second part of the match, Ilya Shkurin decided to take a shot, but the ball minimally missed the opponents’ goal. In the 62nd minute, Konrad Jałocha showed off a very good intervention, saving our team from losing a goal. Two minutes later there was a change in our team, Senger left the pitch and Pajnowski took his place. In the 73rd minute, after our team took a free kick, there was a lot of confusion in the opponents’ penalty area, the first to take the ball was Alvis Jaunzems, but his shot was off target. One minute before the final whistle of the referee, it was very close for Karol Knap to enter the scoring list. In the end, the match ended with a score of 0:2.
