We would like to inform you that Janusz Niedźwiedź took over as coach of FKS Stal Mielec on 2 September 2024. the 42-year-old coach has been able to celebrate many successes in his career. It was under his leadership that the Widzew Łódź team was promoted to the PKO BP Ekstraklasa. In 2019, he was promoted with the team of Stal Rzeszów to the second league and in 2021 with the team of Górnik Polkowice to the Fortuna Pierwszej Liga. In his coaching CV, he has recorded more than 250 matches led as a coach. He served as coach at Ruch Chorzów until 24 August.

– I would like to thank the Club for the trust placed in me. FKS Stal Mielec is a team which, for the fifth consecutive season, plays in the PKO BP Ekstraklasa and it is the Ekstraklasa where Stal is to play for the next few years. I can assure all white and blue fans that we will do everything to make our team take the highest possible place at the end of the 2024/2025 season. FKS Stal Mielec is a team that will approach every opponent without complexes always fighting for 3 points. I am happy to return to the Podkarpacie region, where I live permanently with my family – said coach Janusz Niedźwiedź.

The contract with the coach was signed on 30th June 2025.
