Natan, when the coach was announcing the match staff for the match of the 33rd round of PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa against Radomiak team and he read out your name, did you believe that you would perform on the turf of the Grzegorz Lato Municipal Stadium in Mielec?
I think that every player whose name is in the matchday squad believes that he will get a chance from coach Djurdjevic to be able to present his skills and help the team in the best possible way. Of course, I was quietly hoping that the coach would give me a chance to make my debut in the white and blue colours of the first team. I try my best to live up to the expectations of the coaching staff during training and show with my hard work that I will do my best in the match.

What was your feeling when the coach ‘called’ you out of the warm-up to get ready to enter the turf?
Of course, great joy and excitement that the moment had arrived, which was a football dream of mine. However, I wanted to concentrate as much as possible to memorise the tactical tasks communicated by the staff before making the change. I know how important matches against Radomiak are for the fans and I had to be one hundred per cent focused to help the team and not make any mistakes. The 84th minute of the match against Radomiak Radom saw your debut in the PKO BP Ekstraklasa.
Such moments are probably remembered for a very long time?
Such a moment I will remember for the rest of my life. A jersey with the crest of Stal Mielec – a club where great legends like Grzegorz Lato and Henryk Kasperczak played. The thousands of fans in the stands who, despite our situation in the table throughout the match, were fantastic and supported us loudly and with great commitment. The player I changed on the pitch – Łukasz Wolsztynski – a man who has gone down in the history of this club forever, scoring goal number one thousand for Stal in the top division and scoring many times crucial goals for our team. Family and friends in the stands and in front of the TVs all made 16 May 2025 go down in my life forever as the day when my dream came true.

Would you agree with me that your example shows that it is worth believing and fighting for your dreams?
I agree with you 100 per cent. Determination, patience and faith – without these you have no chance of reaching your goal, but equally important are the people you meet on your career path. So at this point I would like to thank coach Ivan Djurdjevic, the entire coaching staff, as well as President Jacek Klimek and Academy Director Marcin Gancarczyk for the trust placed in me. I promise that I will make full use of the opportunity I have been given, so as not to disappoint anyone at the club and our white-blue supporters. I know that I still have a very long way to go and a lot of hard training ahead of me to perform in the first team as often as possible, but I will do my best to make it happen.
How are young players like you received by the Stal team?
To be honest, I was a little surprised at how I was received in the locker room. I can count on the support and help of all the players from the very beginning of my stay in Mielec. No matter how long someone has been in the team, whether they are from Poland or another country, they all support each other. From the beginning I have been strongly helped and supported in my development by Piotrek Wlazło, for which I especially want to thank him.

We have the last game of the season ahead of us and soon the competition in Betclic 1 League. What is your attitude before this stage of your career?
We know that it is a difficult time for all of us at the club, as well as our fans, but I would like to thank the fans of Stal once again for their incredible support. The way they cheered us during the match against Radomiak and their words of faith in the team after the final whistle of the referee show how important the club is for them. We, in the new season, have to do everything not to disappoint their trust. We have to fight for this club and in every game set only victory as our goal. FKS’s place is in the Ekstraklasa and every player has a duty to fight for Stal Mielec to return to the top flight.
