Below are a few words from Paweł:
Thank you very much for welcoming me to the White-Blue family, it is nice that I could be a part of it for more than a year and I promise that I will forever look back on the achievements of Stal Mielec with great affection. Stal Mielec is a team with a great history, which you can feel every step of the way at Solskiego Street, they are also great fans, who have shown me a lot of sympathy from my first day with them, and the cooperation with the stands turned out to be exemplary. And the staff – also a great “family” conducted by President Jacek Klimek, who will probably be missed at the club when he becomes President of Mielec – which I wish him a lot and keep my fingers crossed! It’s also a great team with cool personalities, I’ve known Leo for many years and he’s a great mate, and I only met Captain Krystian in Mielec, but he’s also a great guy and the best captain Stala could have! And a good DJ, who prepared songs for one of Stali’s previous matches,” says Paweł Jańczyk. Why am I leaving? Firstly, finally in Mielec there is a replacement, a Mielec man, a fan of Stali, who passed the exam and obtained a licence of an announcer during a course in January, which by the way I conducted. I believe he can do it and I’m keeping my fingers firmly crossed for him! And secondly, I am involved in a lot of different professional projects and there is often simply not enough time to relax and look at the sport from the position of a fan. And that’s the plan for the coming weeks or months. Maybe we’ll hear from each other again at Solski 1 – after some time to rest, I’ll be available maybe one day for some replacement, and in the meantime the match against Legia will be my farewell match, I hope we’ll win it, and there will be fire and a fantastic atmosphere in the stands! See you at S1!
Paweł Jańczyk has been the announcer of Steel Mielec since the beginning of 2023, he is also the long-time announcer of the Polish National Football Team, and he hosts the biggest sporting events in the country.
