The 2022/2023 PKO BP Ekstraklasa season is behind us, in which the PGE FKS Stali Mielec team took the xth place in the table. It was a season in which our team scored the most points in the club’s history since returning to the PKO BP Ekstraklasa. Looking at the number of points guaranteeing a stay in the top division, it is safe to say that this third season of PGE FKS Stali Mielec was the most difficult one
of those to date.

The PKO BP Ekstraklasa playoffs brought many unforgettable moments to everyone close to Stal Mielec. It was a season which brought joy and pride in being a supporter of PGE FKS Stali Mielec, although there were also some difficult moments for everyone. Despite many people condemning us to relegation before the start of the games, we all showed together that we are from Stal.

Just a year ago, the spectre of collapse hung over the club, caused by millions of dollars in debts and liabilities to players contracted in previous years. It was a moment when only thanks to the hard work of many people, the support of Mielec business and the action organised by the fans entitled. #RobięToDlaStali managed to save FKS Stal Mielec from bankruptcy and relegation to B Class, and today we can say that PGE FKS Stal Mielec remains in the PKO BP Ekstraklasa for another season!

The club’s success is a success for our entire city and region. Today, PGE FKS Stal Mielec is a recognised and valued brand throughout the country, and thanks to playing in the top division, we reach a great number of recipients, which also promotes the city of Mielec and the Podkarpacie Province.
