The company was founded in 1977 under the name Zakład Elektroniki i Mechaniki, and in 1979 it changed its name to Zakład Mechaniczny – Manufacture of Parts and Accessories for Mechanical Vehicles and operated in this form until 1988. At that time, the company’s main products were parts for trucks and buses.
In 1989, the company’s activities were expanded to include wholesale trade in spare parts for buses, and the company changed its name to Zakład Produkcyjno-Handlowy Hurtownia Części Zamiennych Jan Tarapata. Initially, the company employed a few people, and with the development of the production and trade sector, the level of employment was systematically increased.
Since 2016, the company has been a member of the Polish Automotive Group, the first association in the Podkarpacie region to support the development of Polish automotive manufacturers. PGM is the first association in Poland for manufacturers of automotive parts and accessories that produce products based on advanced technologies. The association brings together mainly companies with Polish capital and aims to become a leader in the automotive industry in Poland.
Our head office is located in Tuszów Narodowy near Mielec, where the following departments are located: purchasing, export, wholesale, logistics and transport, and human resources and accounting, as well as the production plant. In addition to this production facility, the company also has a second plant, which is located in Kolbuszowa. On the other hand, there are sales branches in eight cities across Poland, where warehouses and sales departments are located. In addition to their typical commercial activities, they also produce spare parts and accessories at their own facilities in Tuszów Narodowy and Kolbuszowa.
