PZL Mielec is one of the largest aerospace manufacturers in Poland. For 85 years of the aviation industry in Mielec, thousands of aircraft have been manufactured here, creating the history of Polish aviation.

Polskie Zakłady Lotnicze supports FKS Stal Mielec, thanks to which it counts among the patrons of sport, which is inextricably linked with the development of the club and the possibility of sporting rivalry among the best Polish football teams. Today, together with the blue-and-white fans of Stal Mielec, they are also celebrating an important achievement – the production of the 100th S-70 BLACK HAWK helicopter has just been completed and it has been delivered.

PZL Mielec is one of Poland’s largest aircraft manufacturers and is also Lockheed Martin’s largest manufacturing facility outside the United States. Since 2010, the company has delivered helicopters to 18 customers from 11 countries around the world. PZL Mielec has also produced more than 650 cabins and 520 cones and pylons for Black Hawk helicopters. In 2022, the company’s portfolio was enriched by the production of major components for the global F-16 Block 70/72 programme, such as the rear and central fuselage structure and the cockpit structure and its side panels with the front compartment.
